Will my customers know they're talking to AI?
Some will and some won't. Talalevel answers in your business's name and sounds like someone on your team, and if a customer asks whether it's AI, it says yes. The best way to judge is to hear it yourself.

What it says when asked
It doesn't pretend. Someone who asks gets a plain answer, and the call carries on.
Why customers care less than owners expect
What a caller with a problem usually wants is to be answered and to get something booked. If the call is quick and they end up with a time on the calendar and a confirmation on their phone, they've got what they rang for.
It's still your name on the line, so judge it by your own standard. There's a sample call on our home page.
How you keep control
- You decide what it can say and quote
- Every call and text is on your account, with the recording and the transcript
- You can step in on any conversation at any time
- Anything it can't answer comes to you straight away
What decides whether callers mind
- It answers straight away, not after a menu
- It uses your business's name and your questions
- It ends the call with something done: a time on the calendar, and a confirmation on their phone
- If they ask, it tells them the truth
What owners worry about first
| The worry | What actually happens |
|---|---|
| It'll get something wrong | It doesn't guess. Anything it can't answer comes to you straight away, with the whole conversation. |
| It'll quote the wrong price | It quotes only the prices you tell it to. |
| It'll say something I'd never say | You decide what it can say, every call and text is on your account, and you can step in on any of them. |
| People will hang up on it | Anyone who hangs up gets a text back, so the conversation can carry on. |
What to tell your regulars
You don't have to announce anything. They call the same number and hear your business's name. If you'd rather tell them, keep it simple: you've got help on the phones now, so calls get answered even when you're on a job.
